NEPAL DETAILS

TRIP DATES: TBD: October - November, 2022

TRIP SIZE: 4 - 9 Members

LAND COST: $7200 per person

A DEPOSIT $2500 is due immediately to hold your place. Non-refundable.

FINAL PAYMENT of Land Cost will be due June 15, 2022. Non-refundable.

HELICOPTER COST: Approximately $3000 per person, based on 5 passengers per flight. Includes two private flights: one bringing us in at the start; one taking us out at the end. Cost is subject to change based on helicopter costs at the time.
Helicopter payment will be due September 1, 2022.

NB: These flights eliminate 10 days of driving and low-land trekking, 6 days at the start, 4 days at the end.

TRIP INCLUDES: All land costs in Nepal according to this itinerary, including private hotel rooms, breakfasts and dinners in Kathmandu; full trek staff of Sherpas, cooks & porters; all meals on trek; group camping gear; private tents, and the services of long-time Himalayan guide Skip Horner.

NOT INCLUDED: International airfare, airport taxes, personal equipment, tips, insurance, overweight baggage charges, Covid tests, additional charges accrued in transit or from any deviations from the itinerary.

VISAS: Visas are required for entry into Nepal, but can be purchased on entry. You'll need a passport valid for more than 6 months after entry, with 2 empty pages for visa stamps, and two passport photos.

HEALTH: All members must be fully Covid-19 vaccinated. No exceptions. A negative Covid test will be required for entry into Nepal. More details on this will be available closer to departure. No specific inoculations are required for entry into Nepal, but several might be recommended for you. Refer to www.cdc.gov/travel for a complete discussion of health issues for this trip.

QUALIFICATIONS: This is a strenuous but non-technical trek at high altitudes. Conditions could be demanding for foul weather, long days on difficult trail conditions, and exposure to high altitudes. All participants must be in top physical and mental condition.
